USA Congress Smashes the Hammer on ANC ties with Iran

Isaiah 34:8

If there’s one thing the current South African Government has learned from history, it’s how to play the fiddle while Rome burns to the ground. Oprah Winfrey has nothing on the ANC of 2025; the comrades have transformed themselves from erstwhile freedom fighters into yappers who can chew the ears off a thousand donkeys; perfectly illustrated by their decision to punt a new National Talk-shop as the solution to 30 years of malevolent maladministration. But the audience has left the studio, and now the ANC luminaries are all just sharing the cold cogitations of their blunt minds amongst each other, like a kalabash full of spit and backwash.

The American Legislative System can be deceptively time-consuming, but it is effective and brutally certain as death and taxes. New laws have to be approved by both the US House of Representatives and the US Senate before signature by the President, and this takes time. But delay in addressing the “Egregious Actions of the ANC”, as President Donald Trump originally phrased it in his Executive Order, should not be interpreted (as it evidently was by the ANC) as cancellation. The Eye in the Sky has been watching for many years, and the ANC’s hatred of Israel and her allies has now been brought up before the Throne for punishment. Israel has long been the USA’s strongest ally in the Middle-East, and the Powers that be in America do not take kindly to those who attack the Holy Land and the Kingdom of Jesus Christ.

After Israel rounded off a stunning series of military victories against her local enemies, she finally turned her attention on Iran; the historical serpent of the Middle-East. With help from above, in the form of the Mighty USA’s Bunker Buster Bombs and a God who never forgets his children, Israel inflicted severe damage on Iranian Nuclear infrastructure and safeguarded the Holy Land from a Nuclear attack for the foreseeable future. Upon watching the Justice meted out to Hamas and Hezbollah, it was foolish of Israel’s global enemies to imagine that the same Justice would not similarly reach them swiftly. The newly tabled US legislation against ANC individuals and the SA Government is an extension of this Justice. It would seem that President Ramaphosa’s feint British accent and charming White House appearance did not, in fact, fix everything, as the recent silence of the South African press might have had you believe.

On Friday, 4th of July, the “Addressing Hostile and Antisemitic Conduct by the Republic of South Africa Act of 2025” Bill was tabled in the US House of Representatives. This Bill aims to punish South Africa for anti-Semitism and its financial and political ties with Iran, mentioning Iranian financial assistance to the bankrupt ANC Government in return for “Lawfare” on behalf of Iran, in the form of a South African complaint against Israel at the ICJ. In terms of the proposed Act, all financial aid to South Africa will be scrapped, and all SA Government officials who have expressed anti-Semitic and anti-American views will be personally sanctioned. These sanctions won’t be the normal, toothless kind of restrictions on international travel and banking only, as all institutions, including South African Banks, that do business with any sanctioned individual will be sanctioned themselves. This means sanctions against any bank that holds a bank account for a sanctioned ANC member, and against any business that involves itself financially with such an individual in any way whatsoever. Yes, the hammer is smashing down and we as ordinary, law-abiding South Africans can’t wait.

And what will the ANC do about all of this? Talk. They will talk a lot. No doubt. But there’s also been some talk in the South African Parliament about a certain Motion of no Confidence against the President, and apparently the DA is not the only party that can table it.
