US Military Landstrikes against Venezuela - America is respected again

Judgment Day

The Schoolyard Bully. Every school has one; it seems to be part of the compulsory cast. My high school had one, too.

One fine day, a really tall, muscular new kid enrolled as student at my high school, and his nickname was a foregone conclusion; he was forthwith dubbed "Goliath". But, unlike the Biblical Goliath, ours was as friendly as he was big. The only time you ever saw violence from Goliath, was when he ran out for our high school's First Rugby Team; that was when Goliath, ever so often, had to gently remind his opponents on the field that it was unwise to interfere with his ambition to cross their goal line. Which he did, in almost every match.

Mr Schoolyard Bully, of course, did not take kindly to Goliath's arrival on the school scene; it seemed to diminish his own intimidating stature. It was inevitable, really. It started with Mr Schoolyard Bully hurling insults (benign verbal jousts at first, followed by more vexatious ones, as his courage grew) at Goliath during lunch breaks. As was his habit, Goliath simply shrugged and laughed it off. Then one day, after the insults had obviously failed to deliver the desired result, Mr Schoolyard Bully scraped together all of his malignant courage, and slapped Goliath behind his head during one specifically ill-fated lunch break. The Bible says that when the Seventh Seal is opened in heaven, there will be a brief silence, after which all hell will break loose. And só it was on that day.

Goliath turned around slowly, only to find Mr Bully standing there, mocking him and trash talking still. It wasn't so much a slap, as it was a LAUNCH. I swear, to this day, that Mr Schoolyard Bully's feet lifted clear off the ground as Goliath's big, open right hand connected with his face. He was launched into a nearby wall, in the vicinity of which the school's medic team later revived a totally reformed, Mr ex-schoolyard bully.

Having personally suffered the misfortune of the (obviously and blatantly) rigged 2020 US Presidential Elections, President Donald J. Trump must have been watching as Nicolas Maduro clung to power in Venezuala's very own rigged 2024 Elections (I wonder if there might be a connection there?). After Maduro's "re-election", "President" Maduro continued, as before, to allow free drug trade from Venezuelan shores into America, and persisted with his infringement upon existing, legal USA Oil Drilling Rights in Venezuela: The Venezuelan version of the Schoolyard Bully, basically.

With today's US Military Strikes in Venezuela, the further development of the story of our modern-day Solomon of Wisdom and Goliath of Justice, President Donald Trump, versus Mr Venezuelan Bully, seems to be headed for a similarly satisfying conclusion as the one I witnessed at my high school. Of course, there are other Bullies at large also on the world stage, and today's USA Military Land Strikes against the Maduro regime might just prompt a dialback of their hitherto unbridled bravado.
