The Watchers

We traveled down the Milky Way

and signaled from afar,

taxied through the Asteroids,

and landed on The Star

Marooned on Saturn, Seven Years,

We faced the Cosmic Dark,

watched the silent Solar Flares,

and sheltered in The Ark

We searched the Planetary Charts

for Signs of Life out there;

found a small Terrarium

above The Dragon’s Lair

With all Reserves and Souls aboard

We made a Final Run,

followed down the Moonlight’s Path,

to slingshot ‘round the Sun

We navigated through The Gate

and found a Paradise;

settled North of Bethlehem,

beyond the Wall of Ice
