The ANC: Thirty Years of Arrogance about to End

The arrogance of the ANC knows neither decency nor reasonable bounds, as evident from the latest chapter in the saga of Mr. Ramaphosa’s South African government.

Imagine being gifted One Thousand Million US Dollars per year by another country. Imagine that generous country requesting that you do not use the money to violently oppress minorities in your own land. Reasonable request, right? Not so, if you ask the ANC; they are of the opinion that South Africa's generous benefactor, the USA, is now acting “imperialistically” by no longer unconditionally throwing money at the SA Government.

A Crisis is born.

Enter the prostitutes of the South African Mainstream Media: “A careful Campaign should be launched to clear up the misconceptions that Trump has about South Africa!” they advise. A careful campaign is, concomitantly, designed and some selected delegates are sent to the USA to go sell the lie. Now, here is a striking example of just how arrogant the ANC and their new bed buddies are: One member of the delegation is John Steenhuisen, who once Tweeted:

“Donald Trump is a deeply disturbing individual. Clinton is by no means perfect, but on her worst day is better suited to be US President.”

Can you imagine that moment when the brave Mr. Steenhuisen is introduced to President Trump? “Mister President, please meet Mister Steenhuisen. He describes you as deeply disturbing and inferior to Hillary Clinton. He's here to beg that you don’t turn off South Africa’s cash-on-tap.”

Ultimately, it looks like the “friendly delegation to America” idea didn’t really get off the runway. To be more precise, it kinda exploded in the hangar, if we’re honest. The ANC took a spirited stab at it, but when you’ve been getting away with murder for 30 years it’s not that easy to adopt a humble posture. Before the “delegates” could even get to America to deliver their lies, Mr. Ramaphosa decided there’s a much better way of dealing with this whole thing: Simply suspend all American businesses in South Africa and announce that SA will no longer be exporting their minerals to American markets, which is exactly what he did today.

Crisis not averted.

Now we have a Trade War between the Mighty USA and a country that cannot stay afloat without foreign handouts. I wonder what the outcome will be? I predict that this “Trade War” will last a few days, perhaps a few weeks; no longer than that. And then you will see a Collapse in South Africa that will stun and shock the entire world. Because when a massive rotten tree falls, the sound of its demise fills the entire forest.

If only the ANC had had the wisdom of consulting the Holy Bible on matters of Governance and Foreign Policy, they would have been forewarned that Pride always goes before Destruction. (Proverbs 16: 18)
