Salvation

I saw a Shining in the Dark;

Inviting, Bright, and Glìttering

A Shadow, brief, washed over me

and tuned my Heart to Wondering

I'd never seen such Light before,

spilling on the Astral Plane

The Stairway held a Magic Sway;

I though I'd finally found the way

I ascended to the Star

where Lucifer once piped at Dawn

The air was cold as Demon tears,

an Hour before the Night is born

Then I saw Jesus, watching me,

with Eyes that burned like Fire;

Belligerent of Bethlehem,

above the Temple Spire

The Stairway crumbled into dust,

and I beheld His Face

Truly, this was Judgment Day;

Rocks of Wrath from Outer Space

I knew at once that I was lost;

No time to learn to fly

But then I saw Him rising up

into the Bethlehem Sky

Follow after Me, said He,

I Am The Fluttering

I Am The One who Lives again

I Am The Warrior King

We soared aloft through Israel Skies,

beyond the Deadly Flood

My Heart is pure, I see again;

Redeemed and washed in Blood
