The Holy Spirit Flower

The flower of the Holy Spirit is a stunning example of how God has encoded all of nature with His Truth and Beauty. The flower at first resembles a woman with child, like Maria pregnant with Jesus, in its early development, and once in bloom it transforms into a stunning Dove, the Symbol of the Holy Spirit.

The Flower of the Holy Spirit, scientifically reffered to as the Peristeria Elata, was legally declared  the national flower of Panama on November 21st, 1980, and this breathtakingly beautiful orchid is the most protected flora species in Panama.
